Simon was born in the former Soviet Union.  Having received his education at John Brown University (Siloam Springs, AR), Dallas Theological Seminary, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, he married Alice in 1998.  His ministry experience includes working with youth and young adults, teaching and interim-pastoring in Dallas, Houston, Grapeland and outside the US in places like Russia, Moldova, Kazakhstan, and Malaysia.  In 2009 Simon started 21 Fellowship as the first Southern Baptist church inside the Midway city limit.  Simon and Alice have four children: Thomas (11), Annabelle (9), Elliott (6), and Augustin (2).   In the past two years, the ministry of 21 Fellowship extended beyond the confines of Midway or even Texas, via Houston's KHCB Radio Network.

Rev. T. Wesley Woodard, Jr. - Elder

 Wes Woodard has a rich history of ministry involvement.  A Houston native, Wes spent many years preaching and teaching God's word in Texas and Oklahoma.  The last 25 years of his ministry were spent directing Frontier Camp - a Christian summer camp and retreat center on Houston County Lake.  Wes loves to talk theology and is an excellent Greek teacher.

 Bill is the Director of Missions for Neches River Baptist Association to which our church belongs.  His ministry background includes pastoring and church planting in different parts of our state.  Bill functions in the capacity of a provisional elder until the time when we have enough biblically qualified men to step up to this position.

Helma Hallmark - Music Ministry/Women's Ministry

Helma is a native Texan, born and raised in Grapeland, Texas.  She joined the staff of 21 Fellowship in January of 2011 serving in the areas of Worship, Women's Ministry and Administration.  Helma has been in full time ministry since 1998, serving in Colorado, Wyoming, California and now back home in Texas.

Helma comes to us as a faith supported missionary, supported by friends and family that are committed to her and to the ministry here at 21 Fellowship.

Anne Landry - Fellowship Lunch Coordinator

 Anne refers to herself as a "Houston transplant."  She and her husband Ron just recently relocated to Midway from Houston.  Anne spent many years running an adoption agency in Houston.  She apparently took her work close to heart, as she and Ron ended up adopting 12 of their 15 children.  Anne's ministry here is perhaps most important as it involves food, and food and Southern Baptists are always a good mix!
